Learn why you should keep a weekly yoga practice - now more than ever!
Design a week of yoga that works for your schedule - and plans for unexpected changes
All the support and motivation you need for movement, meditation, and mindfulness all week long
You probably have everything you need! A yoga mat is helpful but yoga is a practice of your body mind and self - so check, right? Asanas can be practiced on a towel or blanket if you don't even have a mat- shocking, right? Need a block? Grab a few heavy books. Prefer a bolster - another blanket, folded up. Like a strap? A belt can work. Headphones are nice. A pen, paper, water? You're good.
I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you have a body that can move, breath in your lungs, and a mind that is entertaining passing thought? You have enough experience.
Yoga is not about extreme ability or over-complication. It's actually the opposite. If you think yoga is complicated, you definitely need beginner yoga. What is complicated is that we have bodies that are burdened by modern food, lack of movement, and a constant stream of dissatisfaction affirmation. We all need beginner yoga, every day. You will learn the BASICS and you will BEGIN every day. A regular yoga practice will introduce you to your body in a new way, every time you practice.
First rule of yoga: you are in charge of you. And, um, that's why you're doing it in the first place. I will give you the lessons and the tools and suggest a schedule but this course is actually YOURS. You make the calls. You practice when you want to or pause to go pee, or take a year off. I made this because I want you to practice. I hope you will return to it and share it but I won't come to your house and make you do it. Unless you ask me to, of course;)
